Vuttara Code Terms of Use
These Terms govern official Vuttara Code builds, development previews, and official project infrastructure.
1. Source files and backups
A code editor can modify or overwrite files. You are responsible for reviewing changes, protecting secrets, using version control where appropriate, and maintaining backups of important projects.
Development builds may contain defects in file, workspace, save, session, selection, undo/redo, or future project-tooling behavior.
2. Commands and development tools
As terminal, Git, task, debugging, extension, or AI features are introduced, commands and tools may modify files, access credentials, contact remote services, or execute code. Review commands, repositories, extensions, and third-party tools before allowing them to act on important systems.
Vuttara Code does not make third-party code, packages, repositories, extensions, or generated output safe merely by displaying or invoking them.
3. AI features
Any future AI assistance may produce incomplete or incorrect code. You remain responsible for reviewing generated or suggested code, licences, security consequences, tests, and deployment decisions.
4. Third-party services
Third-party websites, operating systems, app stores, streaming platforms, GitHub, hosting providers, hardware vendors, and other services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical requirements. Their actions are not controlled by these Terms.
5. Open-source and third-party licences
Separate open-source and third-party licences remain in force. These Terms do not reduce rights granted by an applicable software licence. If these Terms conflict with a licence governing a particular component, the applicable licence controls for that component.
6. Official identity and branding
You may not falsely represent an unofficial, modified, or third-party build as an official NuttaButtaInAA, Vuttara, VuttaraEngine, or Orayth release, or create confusion about sponsorship, security review, compatibility, or source.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software, research materials, website, downloads, and related information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, remedy, or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, recordings, source code, revenue, reputation, opportunity, or service access arising from use of these projects.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for reviewing important output before relying on it.
9. Changes, availability, and termination
Projects and features may be changed, suspended, replaced, or discontinued. Experimental and development builds may change without backward compatibility.
Access to official infrastructure may be restricted when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the projects and their users.
10. Governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights in another jurisdiction are not waived.
